For future ELAA systems, explore accurate & effective CSI acquisitions algorithms in the presence of several new electromagnetic phenomena such as spatial non-stationary effect and near-field effect. In addition, the properties of ELAA with different geometric structures are investigated and exploited.
Propose a group time block code (GTBC) based signal extraction scheme. Convert the spatial non-stationary channel into a series of stationary channels to realize accurate channel estimation.
Analyze the frequency-dependent focusing property in wideband uniform circular array (UCA) systems. Propose an effective beam training framework to estimate the angle and distance simultaneously.
